Privacy policy · Last updated: October 2026

Note: This privacy policy is a placeholder. It must be adapted to the actual hosting provider and the applicable legal requirements before publication.

1. Controller

Nexus Optimizer Project (Example)
Musterstraße 12, 10115 Berlin
Email: hello@nexusoptimizer.example

2. Principle: as little data as possible

This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies, does not embed external fonts or scripts and does not create user profiles. All fonts, styles and scripts are loaded locally from this domain. There is no tracking.

3. Hosting and server logs

When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser type and operating system) to deliver the page and ensure system security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Logs are deleted after no more than 30 days.

4. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. No data is stored in your browser's local storage for recognition purposes.

5. Download and local data

Nexus Optimizer is downloaded directly from this website. No account is required. The app runs entirely on your PC; settings, profiles, activity logs and backups are stored locally under %LOCALAPPDATA%\NexusOptimizer. There is no cloud connection, no telemetry and no external API.

6. No newsletter

This website does not offer a newsletter and does not send marketing emails.

7. Contact and support

If you contact us by email, we process your information solely to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in particular:

  • Access to the processed data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

9. License and warranty

Nexus Optimizer is provided as-is for use on your own devices. The project folder includes the source code and build scripts. There is no guarantee that every tweak works on every hardware or Windows configuration; create a restore point before making changes.

Full build and usage details are in the project README. Product names, version numbers and module counts on this website are examples and may change between releases.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the legal situation or the services used change. The version published on this page applies.
